Women's Audio Mission to Host Virtual Workshops

Women's Audio Mission (WAM) has partnered with not one, but two Grammy-nominated industry pros to bring you two upcoming VIRTUAL and interactive workshops: Songwriting featuring Blush, and Vocal Production featuring Simone Torres beginning this weekend! Blush (pictured on the left) is an Emmy award-winning and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter who has worked with artists like Demi Lovato, Meghan Trainor, and Kelly Rowland. On April 8, Blush will provide insights into her creative process and offer tips and tricks for overcoming creative blocks and finding inspiration. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a deeper understanding of the songwriting process and the skills necessary to craft their own songs.

Simone Torres (pictured on the right)is a seasoned recording engineer and vocal producer who will lead this workshop on recording and producing vocal tracks. She has worked with artists including Beyonce, Cardi B, and Dua Lipa. In this workshop, participants will learn about recording and editing vocal tracks, from setting up a recording space to tuning, and turning in a session to mix. Simone will cover microphone selection, vocal coaching, and basic audio processing techniques like EQ, compression, and reverb. Participants will also learn about the importance of vocal production and how to capture a great performance in the studio.
