Women of NAMM Opens Applications for 2025 Leadership Summit

In an industry where leadership roles have long skewed male, Women of NAMM (WoN) is changing the narrative—one empowered professional at a time. As part of the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), Women of NAMM is dedicated to supporting and advancing women across all sectors of the music products industry, from retail and manufacturing to marketing, performance, and beyond.

Now, the organization is opening up applications for its 2025 Women of NAMM Leadership Summit, a program designed to cultivate leadership skills, build professional networks, and inspire long-term personal and career growth. Held at NAMM’s global headquarters in Carlsbad, California, the summit offers what a statement from the organization describes as “a transformative, three-day leadership experience created to empower women across the music products industry.”

In other words, this isn’t your average conference. It’s an immersive leadership development opportunity, and one that aims to meet participants where they are—with practical resources, expert-led programming, and ongoing support.

One of the most important aspects? Access. To help eliminate barriers to participation, The NAMM Foundation is offering full scholarships to the 18 selected attendees; those selected are only responsible for their travel and lodging.

And the support doesn’t end when the summit does. Attendees will receive “pre-summit preparation, take-home resources and complimentary follow-up coaching,” ensuring that the experience continues to deliver value long after the final session wraps.

Applications open on April 21 and will remain open until June 9. Whether you’re just beginning your career or are a seasoned professional looking to grow into your next leadership role, this summit is an opportunity to invest in yourself—and in the future of women in music.
