Wixen Music Publishing, Inc. in Calabasas, CA seeks to add an entry-level, numbers-oriented and analytically minded Royalty Assistant/Data Entry to join its team.
The ideal candidate has no or limited experience in the music business and is looking to get a solid footing in the music business and grow with us. Schooling in music industry studies and/or playing an instrument are pluses, but are not required. If you’ve always wanted to be a music supervisor, great, however, this isn’t the job for you. This is not a "creative" position.
Success in this position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to work as a team as well as being self-sufficient and working independently, extreme organizational skills, proficiency in Excel and the ability to handle multiple priorities and manage multiple tasks.
