| Who likes to party? WAM LIKES TO PARTY! It has been a blast sharing content from WAM's Archives as we continue to celebrate our 20th year. Speaking of anniversary celebrations, check out this lineup from our 15th Anniversary party held at the Brava Theater in SF!The concert featured performances by R&B/pop artists, St. Beauty (pictured below), who was fresh off her tour with Janelle Monáe, and Mexican American singer/songwriter Diana Gameros, as well as a cocktail reception with a DJ set by Chulita Vinyl Club. Our OASIS Girls on the Mic students had an awesome WAM studio visit this past week with instructor Ari. They received a private tour and session from our talented studio coordinator Arielle Flinkman. Everyone got in the booth and sang/spoke a poem they wrote. It was a magical day! Thank you, Arielle, Ari, and the entire GOTM team, for creating these experiences for girls and gender-expansive youth! |
