Widely-acclaimed British soul star Joy Crookes has released new single and video "Pass the Salt," a collab with Long Beach rapper Vince Staples.
"The new feature, directed by Jake Erland (Olivia Dean, Mowalola), serves as a flippant visual companion to Crookes’ new music," reads a statement.
The song is a chirpy gem, blessed with Crookes' throaty croon and a sharp hook. Staples pops up with a few solid lines, while the video sees Crookes in a Lynchian red room wearing various outfits, and occasionally grabbing a leg.
