Universal Music Korea (UMK), a division of Universal Music Group (UMG), has announced that it has signed hip-hop artists Okasian and Bryan Chase to an exclusive deal.
“We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter with two exceptional artists who have earned widespread recognition in Korea’s and Asia’s hip-hop scene,” said Calvin Wong, CEO of Southeast Asia & Korea, Universal Music Group . “Their expertise and fresh perspective promise to inspire and elevate the current music landscape, and we are fully committed to supporting their artistic journey.”
According to a press release, "the announcement coincides with a new branding of Artist & Label (A&L) , a domestic artist division under Universal Music Korea, generating excitement for the artists’ upcoming projects."
"Throughout the decade of his career, Okasian is positioned as one of the most respected top 5 rappers in Korea," they say. "Starting off his career with a Hip Hop crew The Cohort, along with Keith Ape, Bryan Chase (and more), his unique and impactful delivery put him on to XXL’s TOP10 Must Know Rappers from Korea, along with BTS’s RM. He was also signed to THE BLACK LABEL (Taeyang, Rose of BLACKPINK, Meovv)."

"Bryan Chase is known for his versatility and melodic flows," they continue.
