He recently announced his deal with Leftfield Pictures to develop Opera Noir, a scripted hip-hop musical. He will also be teaming up with LaLa to develop a hip-hop docuseries focusing on Jeff Janvier and Session Cruz’s Face Time Agency. Along with these announcements, Timbaland has dived into the world of technology by partnering with Google Android Co-Creator Andy Rubin to launch Subpac, which Forbes describes as “a physical-sound technology that expands the audio concept of music into a fully-immersive experience.”
