June James, music producer of the Think It’s A Game Records street anthem, “Key To The Streets,” performed by YFN Lucci, Migos and Trouble, has signed an exclusive songwriter and co-publishing agreement with Think It’s A Game Records and TIG7 Publishing, announced by TIG’s Chairman and CEO Girvan “Fly” Henry.
James’ “Key To The Streets” went to No. 1 on Nov. 14, marking the second consecutive year the independent record label has gained the No. 1 position at urban radio. James also produced the song’s remix banger featuring guest artists 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne and Quavo, as well as the Genius Mix from “The Key To The Streets Keychain Remix Pack,” both available now at iTunes and Spotify.
On Friday, Dec. 16, Think It’s A Game Records released the new track “Everyday We Lit” featuring PnB Rock, produced by June James, the first single from YFN Lucci’s upcoming 2017 release.
Marking the two-year anniversary of YFN Lucci’s 2014 debut mixtape Wish Me Well, James commented, “I am excited about producing ‘Everyday We Lit’ for YFN Lucci ft. PnB Rock and especially excited about [the release] on December 16.”
James added, "Once I listened to ‘I Wonder Why’ I knew I wanted to get in the studio with him. From there we went to work and came out with ‘Key To The Streets.’ I was lucky to have my one track blessed by so many dope artists. Now we have this next single ‘Every Day We Lit’ ready for launch and we’re working on new music for 2017. Lucci has grown so much as an artist in the last year.
