Ipswich, England-based Celestion make "professional audio loudspeakers and compression drivers for sound reinforcement, as well as premium guitar and bass guitar loudspeakers." Their latest creation, the Truvox 0820 is an eight-inch ferrite magnet mid/bass driver, and it's available for shipping now.
"The Truvox 0820 is equally adept as the principal woofer in two-way cabinets or as the mid-bass/midrange element in larger, three-way systems, restoring clarity and punch to existing setups," a company statement reads. "The Truvox 0820 is also an ideal choice for door placement in cars as it shares common mounting specifications. Its industry-standard fixing dimensions ensure simple drop-in replacement, and it is supplied with front and rear mounting gaskets for added positioning flexibility."
