The Beatport Group, the global leader in music for DJs, producers, and their fans, has announced the recipients of its third annual Diversity + Parity Fund. Black House Radio, Bridges for Music, ESEA Music, FEMME HOUSE, foundation.fm, Girls Make Beats, Refuge Worldwide, Rhythm Section International, Sisters in Sound, and Young Urban Arts Foundation are this year’s grantees. This year’s fund, totaling $150,000, continues to support grassroots initiatives and organizations dedicated to championing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the dance music community.
The fund builds on Beatport’s commitment to fostering a more inclusive music ecosystem, providing financial support, marketing, and editorial visibility to organizations making a tangible impact. The selected organizations represent a diverse range of initiatives, including community radio stations, mentorship programs, nonprofit collectives, creative education platforms, and advocacy campaigns aimed at fostering inclusivity, amplifying underrepresented voices, and empowering individuals across the global music and arts industries. Additionally, $10,000 has been allocated to the IMS Ibiza Fund, helping young artists attend the 2025 summit.

Black House Radio
Black House Radio is a homecoming for Black DJs and Black sound, paying homage to the past, present, and future of house music. Our platform is deeply rooted in the spirit of house music, bridging generations and acting as a guiding light for Black DJs and their sound. By preserving the cultural significance of house music, Black House Radio ensures the art form continues to thrive as a vehicle for expression and community.
Bridges for Music
Bridges For Music (BFM) is a nonprofit organization providing holistic educational programs to young creatives from underserved communities in Cape Town, South Africa. Our programs focus on the creative arts (particularly music), digital literacy, mental health through mindfulness, creative entrepreneurship, and broad-based career skills to empower, enliven, and equip young people to develop personally and professionally to find sustainable income. The organization’s unique model combines hands-on musical training with a focus on mental well-being and emotional intelligence, fostering resilience and confidence among participants.
ESEA Music
ESEA MUSIC is a non-profit collective of 500+ UK-based East & Southeast Asian (ESEA) musicians, artists, and industry professionals from diverse musical backgrounds. The organization increases ESEA representation by offering a support system for marginalized musicians, uplifting their creative output, and addressing systemic gaps in representation. Mentorship initiatives like Sesame and projects such as ESEA SOUNDS provide emerging artists with professional development and a platform to showcase their talents.
FEMME HOUSE
FEMME HOUSE creates opportunities for women, gender-expansive, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ creatives in the technical and behind-the-scenes areas of music. The organization offers education, scholarships, mentorship programs, and workshops to nurture talent and amplify marginalized voices in music. Collaborations with top industry leaders provide alumni with meaningful connections and resources to thrive in their careers.
A progressive music platform, foundation.fm is a London-based radio station, record label, and creative agency empowering women, queer, and non-binary individuals. Built on inclusivity and representation, the organization bridges the gap between emerging artists and industry networks through skill-building programs and access to career opportunities. Foundation.fm continues to create safer spaces and reshape industry dynamics toward greater equity.
Girls Make Beats
Girls Make Beats (GMB) is a groundbreaking nonprofit organization that empowers young girls by bridging the gender gap in music production, DJing, and audio engineering. Founded in 2012, GMB creates real-world opportunities for girls aged 5-17 to explore the music industry’s technical fields. The program builds confidence through collaboration, giving participants opportunities to perform globally and engage with leading brands and artists.
Refuge Worldwide
Refuge Worldwide is a Berlin-based community radio station amplifying diverse voices and creating educational and cultural opportunities. Broadcasting 24/7 from its Neukölln studio, the station partners with grassroots organizations to foster inclusivity and awareness through music, art, and community-focused programming. It also supports marginalized communities with workshops, events, and mentorship programs, empowering underrepresented groups with tools to express themselves and connect.
Rhythm Section International
Rhythm Section International is a record label, radio show, studio space, club night, and concert series curated by Bradley Zero. Based in Peckham, London, the organization combines live events and artist development programs to celebrate diversity and innovative sounds. Their ‘Future Proof’ initiative provides mentoring and opportunities to underserved artists, making Rhythm Section a global hub for genre-defying talent.
Sisters in Sound
Sisters in Sound (SiS) is a grassroots collective championing women and underrepresented DJs and producers across the U.S., Mexico, and Europe. SiS provides tools, workshops, and advocacy campaigns to empower artists to navigate the industry with confidence and creativity. Their global network fosters community and serves as a resource hub for marginalized voices to thrive.
Young Urban Arts Foundation
YUAF connects disadvantaged young people (ages 11-19) with creative opportunities in music, rap, DJing, and podcasting through its Outreach Media Bus and other programs. Their initiatives provide safe spaces for self-expression, mentoring, and personal growth, building confidence and breaking barriers. YUAF also offers training, work experience, and access to industry experts, preparing young people for brighter futures in creative industries.
