Women's Audio Mission is offering Virtual Girls on the Mic classes via Zoom to students in the Bay Area this Summer.
Who are the classes for?
Girls and gender non-binary students age 11-18 based in the Bay Area are welcome to sign up!
When are the classes?
Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays
8-week Session from June 15 - August 7th
Class is from 2:00pm-3:00pm PST, with an optional 30 minutes of Q&A after each class
Week 1: Intro to Sound
Week 2: Synthesizers
Week 3: Sampling
Week 4: Beatmaking
Week 5: Podcasting
Week 6: Coding
Week 7: DJ Skills
Week 8: Open Mic!
What do I need?
A stable internet connection and phone, computer, or tablet that works for video calls. You will also need to download the Zoom app: www.zoom.us
