Studios of Sanctuary (SOS) is here to help artists, composers, songwriters, producers, engineers and other music professionals who have lost their facilities, or access to them, as a direct result of the Palisades and Eaton conflagrations.
With 17 studios signed on so far, representing everything from the smallest project room to the most well known facilities all across SoCal, SOS provides a portal for victims of the fires to find a temporary workspace. SOS will determine the individual’s needs and match them with available spaces in the area.
Although our partner studios remain intact, they have nevertheless been severely affected financially due to massive cancellations caused by the fires. SOS will seek external funding to cover the hard costs of participating studios (primarily assistant engineers and other personnel) required by the beneficiaries of the program.
Partner studios can refer affected people to this program, assuring that everyone will receive the best possible outcome. This enables all of the participating studios to mitigate costs and logistical planning. SOS also activates other resources, including techs and equipment, while helping to shoulder the collective burden.
