Streamsound Records has announced today the hiring of Jon Conlon as West Coast Manager of Promotion, effective September 2. Denise Roberts has exited the company and is looking for her next opportunity.
“We have gone to great lengths to assemble an amazing team that can take our artists to the next level,” says CEO/President Steve Richardson. “Jon Conlon comes to Streamsound with a wealth of experience in radio and promotion and we are happy to welcome him aboard.”
“I have known Jon Conlon for years and been an admirer of his work ethic and character,” adds Teddi Bonadies, VP of National Promotion and Strategic Marketing. “He is a true country industry veteran. I am honored to have him join the Streamsound family.”
Most recently at RPM Entertainment, Conlon has worked similar roles at Arista and Columbia Records. He has extensive background in radio having worked on Air/Programming in Chicago at WJKL and WCKG, WGKX/Memphis and Los Angeles at Westwood One Radio Network. While in Memphis, he was named “Disc Jockey of the Year” three times by the Academy of Country Music.

Streamsound Records, launched in 2012, is an independent country record label based in Brentwood, Tennessee, and distributed by ATO Records. The company’s principals are Byron Gallimore (producer of Tim McGraw, Sugarland, Faith Hill) Jim Wilkes and Tim McHugh. In October 2013, the company moved into an 11,500 square foot facility that includes songwriting rooms, planned studio space and a performance hall for live events.
