I love this (neo?) prog band that I recently, accidentally found out about. They're a prolific British progressive rock band that has been active since the early '80s.
This particular song, albeit not quite of the prog-rock genre, has lyrics that are identifiable to many and musically is compelling, powerful and intimate. It definitely tells a story, with the ending hanging in the balance.
