"Sound in Focus" – the summer concert series presented by Los Angeles indie radio's KCRW and the Annenberg Foundation – kicked off with a live performance by TV On The Radio. The concerts take place at Century Park in Century City, adjacent to the Annenberg Space for Photography. The photography space remains open so that the concertgoers may attend both the concert and the exhibitions. Other acts in the series include the Cold War Kids, De La Soul and Dwight Yoakam.
KCRW is universally known for its progressive music programming. KCRW Program Director, Jason Bentley (pictured above), started the night with a DJ set, followed by opening UK act, Boxed In (pictured below).
