SMASH supports musicians in our region by prioritizing their health and their lives by providing access to free and low-cost medical, dental, and mental health services.

When the pandemic hit in March, SMASH immediately responded to the crisis by launching additional services for the music community, including funding mental health therapy. Musicians need help more than ever and SMASH is working hard to keep up with the demand.

In past years SMASH has relied on in-person events to support organizational fundraising. COVID-19 has forced to pivot in order to keep funding these crucial services during the pandemic. In order to do that, the annual fundraising event will be online for 2020.

Songs of Hope aims to lift the spirits of our region and provide some much-needed joy as we head into this truly uncharted winter and holiday season, raising money to continue helping our region's musicians.

Musicians that have had the privilege to succeed in the music industry will lift up the voices and talent of our local BIPOC community by creating unique collaborations for the show and sharing the spotlight. For example, Dave Matthews is partnering up with Tomo Nakayama and The Black Tones are collaborating Mike McCready of Pearl Jam.

Event broadcast date: Sunday, November 22 4pm PST, with an online auction launching prior. Info and Tickets Here.
