Music Connection Magazine, along with Creative Music Services and West Sacramento Community Center are presenting Season 5 of the multi-media, education and networking event, Sac Valley Music Industry Forum.
The event slated for Saturday, Nov. 12, will be held at the West Sacramento Community Center at 1075 W. Capitol Ave from 12 - 5:30 p.m., and features a packed schedule of industry and artist panels, “Hollywood Style” red carpet media stages, bloggers, manufactures, large vendor room, artist networking lounge, networking for music business and music creators to intersect and create opportunities.
This year the theme “This Is Who We Are” resonates as a central focus and call for music artists, creators and business to come together and support music, education and industry to the Sacramento Valley region and beyond. The day will also feature the theme song “Where The Rivers Meet” performed by over 15 regional artists. The event will be filmed and photographed and has been called “a must go” for all music artists and industry.
Sac Valley Music Industry Forum is co-sponsored with MXL, The Piano Store, California Lawyers for the Arts, Kurzweil Keyboards, Miktek Mics, Hercules stands, Bag End LoudSpeakers, Remo Inc. and Vic Firth Sticks. Proceeds will benefit Girls Rock Sacramento and the NAMM Foundation.
