Roland Announces GO:PIANO88 Digital Piano

Roland announces the new GO:PIANO88, a refreshed model that elevates Roland’s entry-level piano with a sleek new look and an easy-to-operate interface. This stylish portable instrument features 88 full-size keys and high-quality sounds, providing a solid foundation for developing skills. The Roland Piano App seamlessly extends the creative experience, offering remote sound controls, fun learning tools, and more. Purchasing this latest GO:PIANO88 model (GO-88PX) includes one year of Roland Cloud Core membership, where users can explore over 500 digital scores and a universe of powerful music tools.

GO:PIANO88 offers outstanding piano performance in a slim, low-profile design that’s inviting to use. It’s filled with subtle but carefully considered details that encourage users to sit down and play whenever the mood strikes. Inspired by acoustic grand pianos, the 88-note full-size keyboard provides an authentic playing feel and expressive touch, coupled with attractive ivory-feel keys that blend beautifully with the body’s elegant ebony exterior.

Weighing just 5.8 kg/12.8 lb., GO:PIANO88 is easy to pick up and move. Battery power support provides complete mobile freedom to enjoy music indoors and out without needing to find AC power. Integrated stereo speakers deliver immersive onboard sound, and headphones can be plugged in to practice quietly without disturbing others.

GO:PIANO88 features a wealth of expressive tones, backed by Roland’s sound advancements and decades of high-end piano development. Users can build classical and pop skills with rich acoustic pianos and explore other musical styles with instruments from electric pianos and organs to strings, brass, synthesizers, and more.

GO:PIANO88 offers numerous tools to enhance practice sessions and inspire musical engagement. The onboard recording function lets users capture playing sessions and evaluate progress, while Bluetooth audio/MIDI and USB-C support playing along with songs streamed from a mobile device and working with music software such as Roland’s Zenbeats.

With the free Roland Piano App and a smartphone or tablet, GO:PIANO88 users can remotely adjust volume, tone, and metronome controls and access 256 additional sounds. The app also includes many challenging and rewarding game-style lessons to help build piano skills.
