Ambient-electronic artist Foam and Sand, the side project of prolific electronic artist Robot Koch, announces his signing to Nettwerk and shares new single “Circle 34.” From the mind of the Los Angeles-based musician, Robert Koch, Foam and Sand crafts a minimalist sound by utilizing tape loops to create a cyclical energy that permeates through the music. Loud & Quiet Magazine in the UK calls it, “a restorative, quiet revelation.” What started as a pandemic-based project has turned into a new chapter as he explores the dialogue between technology and nature.
Robert Koch is an award-winning producer who has done official remixes for the likes of Max Richter, Rammstein, Christian Löffler, and Adriatique and collaborated with Grammy Award-nominated conductor Kristjan Järvi, along with the Nordic Pulse Orchestra.
