Quincy Jones was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by The Society of Composers & Lyricists at their annual holiday dinner gathering. The event was jam packed with a "who’s who" of film & TV composer’s including Common, Alan & Marilyn Bergman, Diane Warren and Dave Grusin, who gave an outstanding performance of music Quincy wrote in the Academy Award-winning movie In The Heat Of The Night.
