A Canada-based music production company is sourcing music immediately for a music library of contemporary songs by artists-songwriters to be placed in various film, television, advertising and new media.
Seeking all genres, with an emphasis on top 40/pop, rock (indie, alternative), EDM, hip-hop, and adult alternative vocal songs. Can be male or female vocals. All geographical areas will be considered but artist MUST be a member of a performing rights organization (SOCAN, ASCAP, BMI, etc.)

Compensation: Up-front fee for selected tracks range from $250-1000, plus performance royalties. The deal is exclusive, in perpetuity. 50% of licensing fees and up-front fees received are passed along to writers, as well as 100% of their writer's share. Seeking the copyright with a five-year reversion clause if the track isn't licensed.
