Leading LGBTQ+ talent management company Producer Entertainment Group (PEG) launched its music publishing arm, PEG Music Publishing, in collaboration with Warner Chappell Music (WCM).
PEG boasts a notable roster of drag legends including Trixie Mattel, Bob the Drag Queen, Alaska Thunderfuck, Ginger Minj, Peppermint, Jujubee, Manila Luzon, Miz Cracker, Sherry Vine, as well as rising country star Brandon Stansell. With its move into music publishing, PEG will further its mission to provide LGBTQ+ talent with the same opportunities as their peers in mainstream music.
PEG Records Head of A&R, Ryan Aceto, said: “Throughout my career, I’ve been passionately dedicated to amplifying the voices of LGBTQ+ artists. I’m thrilled that with this partnership, our artists and songwriters will have even more opportunities and resources to get their art out into the world. PEG Records is committed to putting our artists on the same level as other mainstream artists.”
WCM Senior Vice President, Creative Services, Ashley Winton, added: “We’re excited to partner with Ryan and the PEG team to amplify the voices of LGBTQ+ music creators – finding new ways to market their music and tell their stories through playlisting and strategic partnerships, as well as creating new opportunities for them to collaborate with other Warner Chappell songwriters.”
