Multi-Grammy Award winning record producer, rapper, and songwriter Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins is looking to share his gift of writing with youth around the world.
Darkchild will be launching a campaign to find 10 students to attend an exclusive writing camp, hosted by him and his team.
Opportunity: Darkchild is looking to give back and help find and develop amazing, undiscovered, youth talent. His is committed to finding and selecting 10 proteges through his campaign. The output of their work will potentially be pitched to top A-list artists to consider for their own recordings. Protégé will be covering a $500 subsidy for travel, hotel, etc. Must be responsible for own travel and accommodations.
Selection: Darkchild will select his top 10 favorite submissions at his own discretion to participate in a 2-day, in-studio, writing camp. This will be the first camp he’s hosted with previously undiscovered talent, which he sees as an important access opportunity for young producers and artists.
Applicants can submit a 60-second audition video through his Protégé page. Every submission will receive a personalized feedback video from Darkchild.
