With fan voting completed, six winners will be announced at 7:00PM CDT on Thursday, June 2nd, each winner taking home thousands of dollars in prizes, experiences, and gifts. The event will be hosted via livestream on the Interstate Music Awards website. The top four category winners (Artist of the Year, Best Female Artist, Best Male Artist, Best Band) will also receive lodging and airfare to Milwaukee to perform live on the Interstate Music stage.
“The competition for this year’s IMA’s is something that we’ve never seen before. Tens of thousands of votes have been cast, but more importantly, that means tens of thousands of people paid attention to these rising artists,” said Jeff Peterson, CEO of Interstate Music, “Some of these artists are about to do some big things, major label signings and all that, so trust me, you don’t want to miss out on seeing them before they blow up.”
