Brutal Panda Records has announced the signing of NYC’s COUCH SLUT. The band has recently completed their new full-length album which will see a Spring 2024 release. The album was recorded with Uniform's Ben Greenberg (Drab Majesty, Portrayal of Guilt, Metz) in NYC and contains nine tracks of extreme, drug-induced, hardcore noise rock.
Led by vocalist Megan Osztrosits' infernal roar and subversive, vitriolic lyrics, COUCH SLUT have released three previous full-lengths: My Life As A Woman (2014), Contempt (2017), and Take A Chance On Rock ‘n’ Roll (2020).
The band has shared the stage with the likes of Virus, Chat Pile, Wolf Eyes, KEN mode, Krallice, The Body, Imperial Triumphant, Pyrrhon, and Melt Banana.
COUCH SLUT commented on the signing + new material: “This is our latest album, and our first album with longtime friend Dylan DiLella (Pyrrhon, Scarcity, etc.) on second guitar. We’re excited to be working with Brutal Panda, which we think is the perfect label to help us unleash this record upon the world.”
