Boys and girls of every age, wouldn't you like to see something strange?
Los Angeles’ reigning Pumpkin King Danny Elfman welcomed special guest Billie Eilish to sing “Sally’s Song” during the live-to-film concert experience of Disney’s timeless holiday classic “TIM BURTON’S THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS” Halloween weekend at Banc of California Stadium.
Original voice of Lock Paul Reubens joined Weird Al Yankovic as Shock and Elfman as Barrel for "Kidnap the Sandy Claws," as Elfman, composer of the 1993 film's music and lyrics, reprised his role as Jack Skellington. Ken Page performed his original iconic singing role of Oogie Boogie.
Tickets for Sunday, October 31 (family-friendly start time of 6:30pm) are available for purchase HERE. In addition to the performance, each night will feature trick-or-treating across the venue and a stadium wide, crowd-voted costume contest.
Acclaimed conductor John Mauceri led a full orchestra, performing the film’s classic score and songs live, accompanying Elfman and co. – singing live in-sync with the film.
After three years of postponed performances, this year’s shows mark the welcome return of one of Los Angeles’ pre-eminent and classic live Halloween experiences for all ages. Elfman and Mauceri addressed the audience throughout the performance, and Elfman's unmatched energy demonstrated he was ready to perform. 'Tis the Season.
