It would be a source of constant delight, if not for the fact that some of those lyrical lessons are simultaneously hard to hear. “12 million people every year are victims of domestic abuse,” we’re told at the start of the video for “Villain.” “I was one of them and I was fortunate to have survived. Don’t be a villain.” Powerful.
