Craymo, according to his bio, “was born Craig Stephen Raymo in Massena, New York and grew up in nearby Ogdensburg, a quiet little city on the St. Lawrence River bordering Canada.” He’s been around. Craymo is at his best on a song like “My Intuition,” where he’s emulating ‘80s synth-pop icons such as Erasure, Soft Cell and the Pet Shop Boys.
That song is hyper-cool, stylized and well-realized. He should avoid the sub-reggae nonsense of “One Love One World (We Are One),” in which at one point he utters the unforgivable line, “BIG UP!” “Love Me or Leave Me Alone,” though, is a banger.
