The NAMM Foundation is supported by passionate people like you who believe in the transformative powers of making music and the vital importance of music education for all.
In 2023, The NAMM Foundation was able to:
- Provide funding to 24 nonprofit music-making service organizations impacting thousands both nationally and internationally
- Award over 100 scholarships and awards to emerging leaders for career advancement in the music industry
- Recognize 830 school districts and 78 schools across 43 states with the Best Communities for Music Education award
- Launch the “Consider a Career in Music” initiative that includes informative materials for counselors, parents, and students and was distributed to 75,000 educators and administrators across the U.S.
- Host four Historically Black Colleges and University (HBCU) Network with the Pros events in collaboration with The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, impacting hundreds of college music students
- Host over 90 professional development sessions at The 2023 NAMM Show
