Music & Arts and D’Addario Partner to Offer Free String Changes at Over 250 Locations
Music & Arts, one of the leading music retailers and lessons providers in the United States, and D’Addario, renowned manufacturer of musical instrument strings and accessories, are partnering to celebrate World String Change Day on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
Now in its third year, World String Change Day is quickly becoming a beloved tradition for musicians around the globe. This unique celebration is all about recognizing the importance of changing guitar strings, an often overlooked but essential aspect of musical maintenance.
On June 6, guitarists are invited to visit their local Music & Arts store to join the festivities. Customers at each Music & Arts location will receive a free set of D’Addario guitar strings — electric or acoustic — and a free string change. Additionally, all customers can enjoy an exclusive in-store discount of 25% off D’Addario guitar accessories.
Leading up to June 6th, a social media giveaway will be announced on the D’Addario Instagram account, encouraging players to post photos and videos of their string-changing process using the hashtag #WorldStringChangeDay. Participants will have the chance to win an ultimate re-stringing prize pack featuring a Taylor 50th anniversary guitar, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
