Culture Scars marks Hail The Sun's third full-length, and first with Equal Vision. This post-hardcore foursome combine Saosin influenced vocals with technical riffs similar to former EV graduates, Fall of Troy. But make no mistake, there is an instant freshness to the sound that leaves listeners needing more.
While “Paranoia” gets the party started with slick melodic guitars and spacey vocals, “Doing the Same Thing...” really spotlights Hail The Sun's musical abilities—interweaving classic rock, jazz and metalcore. Oh, and did we mention their singer is the one shredding on drums?
