U.S. pop duo MKTO has signed with ICM Partners for worldwide representation in all areas. At ICM, MKTO will be represented by an international team of agents lead by Mike Hayes and Scott Mantell.
After becoming best friends on the set of Nickelodeon’s Gigantic, Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller took pop by storm as MKTO in 2014. The pair’s breakout single “Classic” cracked the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, earned double-platinum status in the U.S., and earned platinum and gold certifications in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, United Kingdom, and Denmark. “Classic” amassed more than 351 million streams on Spotify and in excess of 102 million views on YouTube. Other MKTO breakout hits include “Just Imagine It” (42+ million Spotify streams), “American Dream” (43+ million Spotify streams), and “Monaco” (37+ million Spotify streams). The group split up in 2016 to pursue other passions – Kelley joined the cast of the critically acclaimed Detroit from Academy Award-winning director Kathryn Bigelow. Returning from a two-year hiatus, MKTO has reformed in 2018 and will release their comeback single “How Can I Forget” on Sept. 7 on Crooked Paintings/BMG.
Hayes and Mantell said, “We are proud to welcome MKTO to ICM. Prior to their hiatus, Malcom and Tony had created an enormous online presence all while racking up gold and platinum singles worldwide. We’re excited to be working with them and to continue to build upon where they left off as this new chapter begins when their new single drops.”
MKTO is co-managed by Tarik Kanafani and Jeff Golenberg at Silver Lining Entertainment and Nelson Paredez and Garrett Lindsay at The ESI Network.
