The Association of Independent Music Publishers is organizing a virtual mentorship program. Mentors and mentees can be from any facet of the music industry (publishers, lawyers, accountants, administrators, artists, managers, etc.), from independent companies or majors, and based anywhere in the US. Everyone is encouraged to join in this program, however you must be an AIMP member in order to participate.
Mentorship Mission Statement: The purpose of the AIMP Mentorship Program is to allow our members to connect with each other one-on-one. We hope to strengthen our community and create an opportunity for education, support, and open communication.
Mentors: A minimum of 5 years in the music industry; desire to share their experiences and knowledge. No other qualifications are required! You (yes, you!) have a wealth of information and insight to share, and the mentorship process can be as equally rewarding for the mentor as it is for the mentee.
Mentees: A wish to learn more about the industry; aspiration to grow their network and career. Note: This mentorship is not a substitute for legal, financial or business advice. The purpose of the mentorship is to be educational. Please do not ask your mentor to perform services you would otherwise pay for.
