Female recording artist LP has signed with Vagrant Records. On Sept. 25, she released a special, two-song project, Muddy Waters, under Vagrant. Produced by Mike Del Rio from alt-pop band POWERS, her new endeavor will feature title track “Muddy Waters” and “Lost on You.”

Staying true to LP’s distinctive pop form, “Muddy Waters” is a cinematic offering that showcases a powerful, arena-built vocal range. The single sonically stomps with a thick, church-soul melody. Folks in Los Angeles will be able to catch these new tracks and more live at LP’s intimate residency shows on Nov. 3 and Nov. 10 at No Vacancy.

LP recently appeared on CONAN with JR JR—formally Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.—to perform the duo’s single “Gone.” LP is a vet to the late night television circuit having recently performed her own singles “Into The Wild” and “Night Like This” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and more. Currently, LP is writing her follow up album to her 2014 release Forever For Now (Warner Bros. Records).
