Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the production team to understand the audio requirements for film and video projects
- Set up and operate audio equipment during filming and recording sessions
- Ensure high-quality sound recording and reproduction, including capturing dialogue, sound effects, and music
- Perform signal processing and editing tasks to enhance audio quality
- Mix and balance audio tracks to create a cohesive and immersive sound experience
- Collaborate with video editors to synchronize audio and video elements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in audio technology
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Audio Engineer or similar role in film or video production
- Proficiency in using audio equipment, such as microphones, mixers, and digital audio workstations (DAWs)
- Strong knowledge of signal processing techniques and audio editing software
- Familiarity with video production processes and terminology
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the production team
