Music supervisor Tiffany Anders, along with music coordinator Taylor Rowley have announced the launch of Listen Listen Synch, a licensing company that specializes in releasing quality covers of well-known songs by noteworthy artists.
Anders explains, “The demand for covers is very real in the synch world, for many reasons, whether budgetary or simply just needing an updated take on a classic song. Our goal is to make this a fun and lucrative venture for everyone involved.’
Listen Listen is committed to creating and pitching covers that the songwriters and publishers can get behind, straying away from straight sound a likes, creating some-thing fresh, unique and classic all in one. They will be carefully curating the releases, pairing artists with songs that they can make shine, releasing monthly covers in the New Year. More updates to come.
Listen Listen first cover song release is by critically acclaimed garage rock artist Ty Segall with his cover of “I’m A Man” by The Spencer Davis Group. The cover is featured on Segall’s new covers LP Fudge Sandwich out Oct. 26 through In The Red Records.
