Since 2007, violinist Lindsey Stirling has become a global phenomenon having over 14 million YouTube subscribers and with around 4 billion views on her videos combined. She ended her Duality Tour at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, CA Tuesday night (9/10) with Saint Motel. If you haven't seen Stirling in concert, it could be described as a combination of Cirque Du Soleil, ballet, and a P!NK concert.
She truly is a once in generation artist. Stirling began the show in front of a curtain for “Eye of the Untold Her,” and was joined by her band and dancers behind the curtain with the dancers projected as silhouettes. The stage was set with 2 levels of cubicles used by the band and her dancers throughout the show. Stirling performed airborne, upside down, going up and down stairs, and while flying across the stage.
The show involved several wardrobe changes for her and the dancers. A few songs performed were “Shatter Me,” “Crystallize,” and “Survive.” Whether a Christmas show or regular tour, Stirling always puts on a spectacular performance.
