LANDR Audio announced it will begin digital distribution to Beatport, the world’s largest electronic music store for DJs. The update puts LANDR among the first DIY release platforms to offer digital distribution to Beatport with no extra fees.
By distributing with LANDR, music creators have a direct line of access to Beatport. With one simple workflow, LANDR lets music creators send their tracks to Beatport, as well as Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Deezer, and every other major service at once.
“LANDR is now releasing to Beatport for Dance and Electronic releases. Our community of electronic music producers is huge, and we’re proud to announce a solution that allows them to easily get their music on the most important DSP for electronic artists and DJs. Beatport is where your music needs to be if you’re an electronic producer - that’s why we’re helping all LANDR electronic musicians get their creations into the hands of tastemaking DJs and labels,” said Vanessa Salvo, Product Manager of Distribution at LANDR.
Electronic music comprises a huge portion of the music industry, with over 12 billion electronic or dance tracks streamed, on Spotify alone, each month. All told, dance and electronic music comprise 4% of global music consumption. LANDR will open avenues for music creators to break into what is quickly becoming the biggest genre in music.
"Like LANDR, Beatport is committed to supporting and nurturing grassroots talent however we can. We're thrilled to partner with LANDR on opening up this distribution channel to Beatport, and look forward to receiving content from exciting new producers," said Jack Bridges, Director of Label & Artist Relations at Beatport.
