Today, KCRW announced that the station will showcase a few of its all-star DJs to host Morning Becomes Eclectic throughout the rest of 2019, while a nationwide search for the next host continues. Anne Litt will host the station’s flagship music program in September; Garth Trinidad in October; Aaron Byrd in November; and Raul Campos in December.
“Some of our best voices and star DJs aren’t heard in the morning,” says KCRW President Jennifer Ferro. “As we search for the next MBE host, we are featuring the incredible talent we have on the KCRW team.”
KCRW has separated the previously combined role of Music Director and Host of Morning Becomes Eclectic into two positions. Anne Litt has been named interim Music Director.
“As our nationwide search continues, we are looking for the next KCRW Music Director to expand our music footprint into the coming era,” continues Ferro, “and a host for MBE, primed to share exceptional new music, and launch the careers of countless artists, just like their predecessors.”
