A DIGITAL VIDEO SERIES STARRING ANDERSON .PAAK AND KELSEY GONZALEZ, BY D’ADDARIO PERCUSSION
Brooklyn, NY ‑ D’Addario Percussion is proud to present Grammy Nominated artist Anderson .Paak and his bassist/confidant Kelsey Gonzalez in the post-retro-modern edutainment video series .Paak 2 Basics. The series harkens back to the golden VHS era of drum instruction videos while showcasing .Paak’s undeniable, cutting edge drumming and lyrical talent. While he’s been making a serious impact in today’s music realm, touring with the likes of Bruno Mars and J. Cole as well as the most watched NPR Tiny Desk concert appearance with over 14M viewers, .Paak 2 Basics will mark the first time he will be featured as a drummer first and foremost.
In the five episode run, .Paak will offer tips on how to build a groove, bring the drum solo back into the cultural lexicon, and serve up a one-of-a-kind, stripped down performance of the hit song Get Bigger from the Nx Worries album Yes Lawd!.
