Focusrite teamed up with GRAMMY® award winning producer / engineer Gena Johnson to record GRAMMY nominated singer-songwriter Ashley Monroe’s latest single, ‘Over Everything’ in historic RCA Studio A in Nashville.
Gena assembled a band of Nashville’s finest session musicians and challenged them to experiment with arrangement and instrumentation. They transformed Ashley’s song from a raw work tape, with just vocals and acoustic guitar, to a full production showcasing the incredible talent of all the musicians.
Focusrite’s Red 16Line was used as the main interface for this project providing plenty of IO and the transparency needed to allow the characteristics of the vintage mics and outboard gear to stand out.
