An inspiring campaign to get musicians and music fans engaged in WhyHunger’s work has been launched. Titled Homemade Jams: 100 House Concerts to End Hunger, the campaign is enlisting 100 artists and music fans to host house concerts and raise funds for the work WhyHunger is doing. The company is working with community-based groups across the United States and worldwide to put an end to the struggle that so many face each and every day.
Got a favorite local musician or maybe you play music yourself? Pick a date, invite some friends and collect donations for WhyHunger all in the name of ending hunger and poverty. Don’t forget to register your house concert once it’s confirmed via the House Concert registration form.
The jams begin on June 28 at 5:00 p.m., with singer-songwriter Jen Chapin performing at Healdsburg’s Hanna Winery in Northern California (9280 Hwy 128). Get full details at http://homemadejams.org.
