This past weekend, the independent Van Nuys, CA punk label Hopeless Records celebrated its thirtieth anniversary at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Hopeless' official Rock Hall exhibit (the Hall's first dedicated to a modern indie label, and to a label in the new alternative scene) was unveiled, the traveling "Hopeless Museum" of 1,000+ artifacts visited for a special weekend residency, and a mini-festival with Hopeless artists was held outside the Hall's iconic glass pyramid.
Check out photos of the exhibit, the performances (by Illuminati Hotties, Awsten Knight from Waterparks, Dan Campbell from The Wonder Years, and Scene Queen), and a special Hopeless 30th Anniversary Q&A Panel hosted by Alternative Press founder Mike Shea below. Credits for each photo are below the image.
