Ocho Mule Records, Guster’s own label, and Nettwerk Music Group have announced their partnership for Guster’s new album for worldwide release. Produced by Richard Swift (The Shins, Damien Jurado, Stereolab), the album promises to deliver a new sound while maintaining their signature timeless character. Additional details about the album will be announced in the coming weeks.
"We are thrilled with the opportunity to keep our new release independent on a global level with the help of Nettwerk Records,” says Ryan Miller of Guster.
“Nettwerk has had the privilege to support Guster throughout their career and it’s a great honor to partner with the band’s own label to release the new album,” says CEO Terry McBride.
In anticipation of the LP, Guster launched an album pre-order campaign last week. Through this promotion, fans gain exclusive access to a series of early bonus content and special items; including Shit Your Pants With Guster (aka Skydiving With Ryan Miller), Beard & Mustache Makeover, The Adam Gardner Skype Sin Confessional, the sake-fueled Karaoke Party With Brian Rosenworcel and even a Tesla. For additional details and to hear album track “Long Night,” please visit the band's album pre-order page: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/guster.
Guster has sold over one million albums and headlined prestigious venues like Radio City Music Hall and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. In addition to their traditional shows, Guster has always given fans unique live experiences, including shows with the Boston Pops Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and the Colorado Symphony, and their much acclaimed acoustic tour featuring comedian Jeff Garlin.
Guster is the latest addition to the Nettwerk label roster, which also includes Passenger, Sinéad O’Connor, Boy & Bear, Family Of The Year, Frazey Ford, Run River North, William Close, Madi Diaz and many more.
