Field Day 2017 has announced additional names for the upcoming festival, happening Saturday, June 3, at Victoria Park U.K. The latest acts to be announced for the festival line-up are Loyle Carner, Dr John Cooper Clarke, Joe Goddard (live), Esther Joy, Andy Shauf, Overmono (live), Hannah Diamond, Phil Taggart, Tom Demac and Tom Ravenscroft. They will join the likes of Run the Jewels, Abra, Aphex Twin, Moodymann, Nicholas Jaar and many more already confirmed.
Croydon-born Loyle Carner joins the Field Day 2017 line-up with a goal to deliver a great performance for Field Day revelers with his portraits of growing up in South London.
Dr John Cooper Clarke will be appearing with his own brand of poetry at Field Day. Clarke’s career has spanned cultures, audiences, art-forms and continents.
Also confirmed are PC Music darling Hannah Diamond, underground electronic brothers overmono who will perform live, Canadian singer-songwriter Andy Schauf, Esther Joy and BBC Radio DJ’s Tom Ravenscroft and Phil Taggart. The new additions further aim to display Field Day's commitment to producing line-ups covering the full width of the music spectrum for a truly special event this year.
Now in its 11th year, Field Day has become a notable festival in the U.K. Music programming over the years has seen upcoming and legendary acts such as PJ Harvey, Caribou, Skepta, Patti Smith and Pixies grace the Victoria Park stages, and this year's festival is set to surpass expectations, with more artists still to be announced.
