Folk Alliance International is looking for artists who are ready to perform for hundreds of festivals, venue bookers, agents, managers, media and music industry representatives at the 2019 FAI Conference Showcase in Montréal, Québec, Canada.
Held February 13-17, 2019, FAI is the world's largest gathering of the folk music industry and community. It attracts over 2800 attendees from 35 countries. Application fees are $20 for FAI members and $40 for non-members until July 31. Pricing increases to $25 for members and $50 for non-members on August 1 and runs through August 15. Applications close 5 p.m. (CST) August 15.
All applied artists will receive notification of their status Sept. 17. Showcase artist lineup will be announced to the public October 1, with the showcase schedule following on October 19.
