Extreme Management Group (EMG), home to bands like Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, Rings of Saturn, and more, has announced their partnership with A BROKEN DESIGN (Malta).
Straddling the lines of Metal, Stoner Rock and Grunge, A Broken Design boasts seasoned musicians from a variety of musical backgrounds.
Guitarist Daniel Bezzina from early noughties extreme metal heavyweights Slit had known Vocalist Brendan Jackson from studio work he had done with Brendan’s Alternative Rock radio darlings Eve Ransom and Scream Daisy respectively. Realizing they wanted to write and perform together, they seized the opportunity to work on a new project.
Completing the lineup with drummer Chris Galea (Nomad Son), bassist Conrad Dimech (Blacklight Studios) and as of 2021 Simon Deguara on Vocals (Kill the Action) as the backbone and dynamic purveyors for the hard hitting songs, A Broken Design’s lineup is now complete.
Drawing on influence from the decay of the human psyche and tribulations and seeking comfort through composition, A Broken Design digs deep into the corners of dark, melodic, heavy, brooding and groove soaked spectrum along the lines that fans of Alice In Chains music and lyrical themes would feel right at home.
