A California-based director is seeking a score composer and/or existing music to license for an independent feature-length romance thriller.
Synopsis:
Kate, a widow, and her young daughter recently inherit a colonial home in upstate New York. The home is in need of major repairs so she hires Joe, an attractive local handyman. Within a couple of months, Kate falls for Joe's charms and they begin dating. On one special occasion, while having dinner at Joe's house, Kate finds a newspaper clipping of a missing woman whom is presumed dead and the body never found. Upon further investigation, this appears to be Joe's wife. Kate wonders why he has never mentioned her and begins digging for skeletons in Joe's closet, only to discover that there are bodies in his backyard.
Since this film seemingly starts as a love story and ends as a suspenseful thriller, they are seeking a composer that can compose in these genres.
