The Southern California Blues Society’s annual Battle of the 20 Blues Bands Contest is currently looking for the best blues bands in Southern California to compete in an event, which will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12, in Long Beach, CA.
If you are interested, email [email protected] and let them know your band wants to compete. They will then email back within 24 hours to provide the rules and requirements.
The winning band will receive $2,000 travel expenses to go to Memphis to compete on Jan. 31 through Feb. 4, 2017 for The Blue’s Foundation annual International Blues Challenge.
There are only a limited amount of band slots left and they will go fast. Pre-register your band by emailing and letting them know that you would like to be considered.
Bands must register by Sept. 30.
