Eclectic British guitarist Clive Carroll told us about his essential... nail kit (no kidding!)
Clive Carroll: This might sound a bit weird, but it’s actually my nail kit, which is comprised of: cuticle scissors, clippers, super glue, nail files, 2000-grade sandpaper and ping pong balls! I stick pieces of cut up ping pong ball to the underneath of my real nail tips.
So, if my guitar got lost on a flight, I could play my set on a different instrument but if a nail needed repairing and I didn’t have the kit - well… I’d have to strum a few chords and sing my way to the exit!
